I lost my husband of 27 years to a sudden heart attack! It was 2 weeks ago!

Hi Barb,

 

My heart goes out to you Barb. Do you have a support network? Grief groups are wonderful. They often have them through a church, or, in my case, Mercy hospital in Fridley has a great group. It may allow you to just cry and process. I am so sorry for your loss. I do understand, I really do.I will be thinking of you and checking back here to see how you are doing. May God comfort you and carry you dear Barb.

Hello, My name is Melanie and I am also suffering from a tragic loss!  My 29 year old son was killed in a car accident Christmas eve, just 2 months ago.  He had an 11 year old son and a fiance that was 9 months pregnant at the time.  We now have a beautiful Grandaughter born just 2 weeks after he passed away.  I know how much you are hurting and it seems as if time stands still as others move along through life.  Our lives will never be the same.  I am so sorry to hear about your husband.  I know how hard it is!  God will hold you up and keep you strong, even if you feel that you cannot make it one more day, you will!

Barb, I too am widowed, my wife died 4 years ago from an Arterial veinous malformation that started to bleed in her brain. Losing my wife was a pain like I have never experienced. I became active with a Christian support group called Beginning Experience. BE is internationally active, so if you google them you should find one in your area. BE helped me tremendously! Please keep in touch with all of us here at Keep The Faith.We love to share God's love and will be praying for you!

I know it may seem hard but Rejoice! Remember his life and focus on 
the good times. Celebrate his life! try not to contemplate his death. 
Be aware that he is preparing the way for you in everlasting life.
