Hey I need some prayer and help. I'm in a hard place right now where all my friends are turning against me one by one, and I have done nothing to deserve this. I've only been there for them. I don't have very many true friends and the ones I do have I'm not close to and they don't seam like they want to be close to me. I'm having a really hard time with trusting people, and I'm having a hard time with God. It feels like he has just left me here to fend for my self and I don't know what to do. thanks!

You have more friends than you think -I would love to be your friend. You seen to have an outstanding demeanor and love God. From past experiences, I would say kiss those "friends" goodbye. You need to surround yourself with people that share the same values as you because believe me, people influence you more than you will ever realize. Pray, talk to God and give your burden to him. He loves you and is doing everything for your best interest. I had friends that left me as a kid and now I look back and am glad. They started getting into drugs and who knows what kind of effect that influence would have had on me.

Stay strong. God allows everything to happen for a reason. That reason is that He is looking out for your best interest. Trust Him. xoxo

Hi! I had plenty of problems with this before. I know, I know it hurts! It hurts BAD! When you feel like no one cares about you, especially God, but trust me, He does and He loves you so much! God cares about you and wants to hear you, and even if you don't feel His presence, just go through the motions: read your Bible, pray, do a devotion (Elizabeth George is great), do whatever you do but keep in touch with Him and trust me, He hears you! I know it's hard being rejected. but trust me, something good ALWAYS comes out of it!

thanks guys! situation has gotten better with God but not with the friends. thanks for the prayers

don't worry just keep trusting God  and he'll be there look up romans 12:12

i know how you feel Kiersten, i had friends that rejected and betrayed me and my lack of soical skills doesn't help ether. but i would like to encourage you to know GOD as a person. as someone who is ready to be revealed to you in a way only you can see HIM. only you will know HIM in this way and it goes beyond what was tought and read because it's your relationship with HIM. often times GOD is going to be the only possitive thing in your life, but it has to be more than just a good thought; we don't want just a good thought to think when we're broke down on the floor crying our eye's out because of the agoney of a broken heart. know that HE's your guide, counciler, friend,BELOVED,DADDY,KING,and LORD.

remember that JESUS didn't leave us here without help, like a consurned mother HE gave us The HOLY SPIRIT to comfort and work on our souls and spirits like a well watered gaurden HE takes care of every day.

as one whom his mother comforts, so i will comfort you; you shall be comforted in jerusalem.-isaiah 66:13

their life shall be like a watered garden, and they shall languish no more.-jeremiah 31:12

i am as a wonder unto many; but THOU art my strong refuge.-psalms 71:7

i will hear what GOD The LORD will speak; for HE will speak peace unto HIs people, and HIS saints: but let them not turn again to folly.-psalms 85:8

To Kiersten, and everyone who suffers from the pain of rejection..

The responses were great, and I agree with each of them. Rejection can come in many forms. We can be rejected by our friends, by a prospective boyfriend or girlfriend, or by our own family members. Any way you look at it, its painful and can cause deep insecurity and fear of future rejection. It can leave a person left in hiding, self protecting so as not to be rejected again. When you experience that kind of hurt, you don't want to feel it again. The problem is, if we choose to close ourselves off to people in fear of rejection, we wind up lonelier and stuck in a state of fear. God says you are loved. God says to put Him first in all your decisions and in all your relationships. If a door closes on a friendship, pray and ask God to give you wisdom and discernment. There are many reasons why God may choose to direct us away from someone. If a family member rejects or abandons you, as I have personally experienced, it can create a lack of trust with anyone who tries to get close to you. The key is to put your trust in God first, and ask Him to heal your woundedness, protect you from those who are not good for you, and provide you with a friendship that is healthy, safe, and provided by Him. He has an awesome way of making divine connections! So please don't give up on yourself, on others, or on the Lord! He will make a way for you, and He promises never to leave you or forsake you! You are loved! You are cherished! And you are His!

Be blessed, and KNOW that you are LOVED!!!

††† (NIV) Proverbs 18:24~ One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is A Friend Who sticks closer than a brother.

††† (ESV) A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is A Friend Who sticks closer than a brother.

††† (KJB) A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is A Friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

((It's kind of cool to read and compare the different translations.) :)
