America the beautiful, I thought they said we're free
To immitate the ones who live in truth and liberty
To walk by faith and not by sight, to sing about sweet freedom
I wonder if they ever thought our rights would once be taken
We choose the path we want to take, when our freedom is at stake
We either vote to have free will, or download all that they instill
The fragile minds that take it in let the reprogramming begin
What once was full of hope and promise becomes a soul without true purpose
A marionette to do their bidding; a life of gaining and of winning
All the pleasures this world offers.. to die to self will bring the scoffers..
If they all could only see they're bringing on a tragedy
By following the ones not choosing to give their lives in unity
To Him Who offers us the treasure in a Heavenly endeavor
Going to the lost and needy; choosing to be generous, not greedy
With the profits of their toil..hoarding it will make them spoil..
So give freely till you've gathered all your extra and you've scattered
To the homeless and the helpless, cause God says that's what true love is!
††† 2 Corinthians 9:7~ Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a CHEERFUL giver. :)
††† Acts 20:35~ I have shared you all things, how that so laboring ye ought to support the weak,
and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how He said, it is more blessed to give than to receive.
††† Matthew 6:2~ "So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets,
as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, to be honored by others. Truly
I tell you, they have received their reward in full.
