I just found "Keep the Faith" today.  I too write poetry and share it with friends.  I came back to Christ three years ago while in jail.  There, too, God gave me back the gift of writing.  The attached poem is the first I wrote while in jail.  God continues to reveal Himself working in my life.  In%20the%20Still%20Quiet%20Center%20Black.pdf

Hi to all, just thought I might share a poem or two. Hope they bless you and encourage you.

I want to have

Passion for my Saviour

Compassion for his people

Be broken of my will

Desiring you Lord alone

I want to be

Humbled before you Father

Filled with your Spirit

A servant not a master

Bowing before your throne

She climbed her way up and out of the mess

And finally freed thine own duress

She is singing again

From deep inside her spirit torn

Sounding off she deeply mourns

It’s safe

Somehow she knows and does not question

God speaks to her thru all my lessons

Oh did I forget to mention

We are freed for good without a question

You did the work and earned your wings

Now its time my angel she sings

This in particular time pays close attention

And sings she does without direction

About a sweet soul we both know

Who powered by her faith and its conception

Survives our very old friend my child’s deception

She cries when she finds out how much time has past

Now she realizes I am not so sure we survived the crash

But neither here nor there our dreams tried and true are made to last

In mind reaching down and in without a sound I found my deepest strength

Was all I ever really needed to mend At length

I have missed you for so very long

The child in you has been reborn

Twenty years done deal and gone

At best held us down but not forlorn

My deeds are done and I am free

To live my life and safely be myself

My Child A sight to see

What a view from up here in your tree

She never had to hold her pride

She only ever needed to decide

With one lone breath and a silent cry

Her wings reborn outstretched to fly

Reveal an everlasting beauty queen

A True Butterfly a sight to see

Lorraine....  these are both beautiful!!!   And how fitting that God used them to heal your family!!   And how WISE you were to call upon Him!!!  Kinda makes me with I had a copy of that little book!!  LOL!

When I was a child my Christian Aunt and Uncle gave me a little book entitled  " Say a little prayer ".........  The following words from this little book have stayed with me all of my life and have reminded me to pray always and in every circumstance.

May these words do the same for you.....

When you can't seem to find the answers

  to your problems anywhere

   Stop for just a moment

      and say a little prayer

When life is treating you just right

and you don't have a care

   Stop for just a moment

       and say a little prayer............

In 1995 two of my brothers were not speaking to one another and it hurt my heart.  I prayed and asked the Lord what to do.  This poem came to me and I wrote it out and sent it to the entire family, 2 weeks later my brothers settled their differences and have been closer to one another than ever before.

For My Loved Ones

  God bless my precious family

   guide them from above

   fill them with tenderness

   compassion and love

   In times of sorrow

   in times of pain

Lord comfort them in your tender way

Lead them through trouble and strife

Lord walk with them throughout their life

   So grateful Lord

   am I to thee

for all that thou hath given me

   no greater gift

   could there be

   than my precious family

"As You Rise" By Keily J. Denny & The Holy Spirit

As you rise, I won't criticize,

I will give you some anointed yeast to help you rise higher...

Always showing love and never anything else...

Only helping to uphold you

So that HE the creator of all things can mold you.

Kingdom ready if you please....

Starting this day hands raised and on my knees.

As you rise, I won't criticize...

Got some anointed yeast to help you rise....
