Books of faith for single moms

 My book is The true story in that will fill every part of you and as a Mother your children. In your hands will be a life story for every single Mother who will do anything with the faith of god leaning so heavy for the light each day when giving up was not a choice.

The living situation with worn broken boards on the roof with shingles
Just hanging by a thread. Floors filled with rotten mold and a prayer
each day from my bible I still have kept my faith strong as I continued
To follow gods faith and reason for my struggles with my children on my own.

I held my children together always.
They never left my side.
My three little angels I was so proud
Reading this story will touch any Mothers heart.

If you are hurting from the present or the past, I've read another great book that really helped me work through a lot...The Wounded Woman by Dr. Steve Stephens and Pam Vredelvelt. Great book!

Hi ladies, new to the site and the group, would love to make new friends, im divorced and have a 17 yr old son that thinks he is 21, its been a rough road for us but God willing Im making it one day at a time. Hello Moms,

I am new to this site and new to being a single mom. After being married for 8 years to an unfaithful husband we divorced. I have a 7 yr old girl and 6 yr old boy with slight disabilities. I am learning how to lean on myself and God more than a man and that is proving more difficult than I thought. I was hoping to get some prayers and advice as to how to let go of the pain and anger and focus on my relationship with God and my children. I spend alot of time in prayer these days, let me know if I can pray for you at all too.

This is my first time on here. I am a single mom of two boys and honestly without God, family, and friends I dont think I could do this on my own. Especially my mom she has been my best friend and the one person I can go crying to when things get hard (except for God of course.) I am happy to fine a place where I can fine Christian single moms to talk to.

Sylvia, I looked that group up that you were talking about and unfortunately there is not one in my area...I'm in the boonies! BUT if there is one in someone's area, it definitely looked worth checking out. I think its a real struggle to be a single parent and find a place to belong. Thanks, Sylvia!!

Hello group,
I just want to encourage you all. I came here many months ago looking for someone who could identify with being a single mom. In many churches the fellowship for us single mom’s seems non-existent.
I searched and found a Single And Parenting group at a church near me. They host one of many around the country. If you go to SingleAndParenting.org you can do a search to see if a group is being hosted in a church near you OR you can request the your current church host a group.
While this forum is great, being able to meet, pray and study from the Bible, with an actual group, how to address issues specific to our situation has made ALL the difference for me and my child.
I pray all of you find the hope, love and support that is best for each of you but this group is a great place to start if you are still looking for a place.

I am a single mom of three kids two boys 13 and 18 and 11 year old girl. We have alot of hardships but I could not do any of this with the help of my church and without Gods help.

Hello,

 

I need serious prayers for God to keep my kids safe from all the devil attacks that is surrounding them.  For God to give me wisdom to know how to fight the attacks and knowing it is from the devil and not from a particular person.   God had protected us for the past 3.5 years but the attacks are still going strong.
