my mom is very special to me because well she gave me life to live and i love her even when we get in some dumb fight but i still love her

No matter how much pain I've caused my mom, which is alot, she's always been there for me through thick and thin. Had it not been for the spirit of God living in her to push me and strengthen me and remind me, I would not be where I'm at today. Though time get hard, she is always there to pick me up and make me realize from a different perspective my mind wouldn't allow me to see. I've held alot of unforgiveness against her and even though she knew about it, she still loves me unconditionally and I see that she always will. I forgive my mom and I will always love her no matter what. We grow together spiritually and the Lord has blessed our relationship. And coming from the way I grew up and those I hung around, you would say this relationship is rare. Jesus lives

My mom stands out to me because she has shown an immense amount of courage and strength through hard time.

I will have to start from what I remember from when I was little.
I've been saved since I was five years old, and I don't remember what made me want to get saved. But I have no doubt that my mom had no small part in it. She was a Christian since she was a kid, but she'll tell you that for several years she was out of God's will and not really acting like a Christian.
According to what she told me, learning about Bible prophecies online and other things helped her to get back into God's will, start going to church again, and to try to teach us (my siblings and I) about the Bible. Without her influence, I think it's unlikely that I ever would have become a Christian.

My mom eventually decided to leave her career in the Navy. She felt like God wanted her to, even though everyone else told her it was a bad idea. Around that same time, or not long after, she and my biological dad divorced. Being a single parent, then, her number one priority was to make sure she could provide for my brother and me, which to her included spending time with us. She turned down some well-paying jobs simply because they would not allow her to spend enough time with us, and ended up in a dead-end job.

A few years later, she remarried. And just months after that, my step-dad got an infection that settled in his spine, which completely paralyzed him from the waist down. Ten years later, he is still paralyzed, and has to stay in a special bed all the time and ends up hospitalized a lot. He can't even use a wheelchair because he has bed sores. Through all of this, my mom has done her best to support him and keep us going. Another thing my mom has done is homeschooled my brother and me, because she wants to make sure we have a good education. And she has her own health problems, including back trouble, scoliosis, has to take coumadin for the rest of her life because she's had three or four bloodclots in her legs, and will be having surgery for a hernia later on this month.

I'm in tears right now, because she's such a strong person. I know all the problems in her life do bother her and do get to her, but she keeps going anyway. I don't know how she does it. And I don't always get along with her, unfortunately, but I do know that she is a blessing from God. She's made so many sacrifices for us, and I wish more people were like her.

I just met my mother figure last week! We met on Facebook about a year ago! I was really down and suicidal when we first started talking. She is the most loving person I have ever met! She talked to me for hours and hours trying to convince me that I was worth something! I love her dearly! Unfortunatly, I can't post her picture because she is considered celebrity status! She is a beautiful women inside and out!
