"The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you." Jeremiah 31:3~
Have you ever loved someone who would only return your love on his or her terms? You knew the terms were unfair, but that person simply refused to listen to reason. If you 've ever experienced anything like this, you have had a glimpse of the pain God endured in His love for Israel. He loves His church, Christ's bride,in the same…

Are you hanging on by your fingernails, precious one? Too worn, too weary, too weak to cry out to God anymore? Are you ready to give up, to stop praying,to stop believing, to walk away? Are you ready to call it quits on trying to live in surrender to Christ?
Do you think, "I can't bear any more. I can't deal with the incessant pain?
If I didn't …

~ Christ in Our Place ~
Are there times when you doubt God's love for you? When things aren't going as you had hoped, when your life is reeling out of control, do you wonder how a loving God could allow you to suffer such pain? What a comfort it is to remember that God paid the dearest of prices to redeem you from your life of sin. You were dead in your trespasses and sins; you were…

hanks so much Tina for your great fellowship....You know when I go deep into my heart I know what you say is not only true but virtually all abuse is some kind of self abuse. We are so imperfect that we even attract those who are very obvious as the perpetrator of abuser and yet so many stay in that relationship....Please don't get me wrong I am not saying we make everything happen to ourselves, to believe that is to place one's self on gods throne....
I am saying that I agree with you when I go deep inside my heart and ask what is it I am responsible for that was of sin that did not work including being fearful and passive to confront until it was too late for my 24 year marriage....So interesting though cause I still believed it was not too late for me or so I thought AND it was too late... for it takes 2 who are committed and that was just no longer there.
Wow that's great that you work in a naturopathic medical practice, the things you mentioned I do with gods guidance each day and have had the honor of teaching a few M.D.'s who just had enough of their unique form of insanity medicine as they put it.
Have a blessed day Tina...I look forward to hearing from you soon, Larry
Dr. Lawrence Sosna said… Hi Tina,
Yes Dr. Dobson is great...in FL there is a growing Christian trend to work at the emotional level with gods grace we have 90.3 fm which is the Grace radio channel and there are constant ministries sproting up along these lines. For me I know I am only alive in god and his grace. So it is important to grow in good health physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually...All have their own unique challenges. And it seems the finer layers of self in the emotional body and spiritual body is more challanging at least it is for me. It is so tempting to skip the emotional level and just say well if I only focus on the spiritual then everything will take care of itself and that sounds really great but its a rationalization and as a doctor I have seen hundreds get pulled right back to finish the wisdom of what emotional garbage is left within. People will then say but its not spiritual work and to that I say it is very spiritual work for it frees one to get out of isolation and emotional hell and free to really walk with Christ some more. Christ is complete, he is free of all incompletions on all levels and one day we will be too. I give great thanks for our new friendship Tina, we have connected at the real place where most do not really want to go to....why? Because it seems scary and it would be to face inner shadows if it were not for Gods love and protection...which is why I seek Christ based counseling and as a naturopathic doctor I do this work with patients from the same place...gods love.
I am wishing you a joy filled day Tina...many blessings to you...Larry
Thank you and God Bless. I feel so not worthy of His grace yet I know I still receive it. I recently had to put my dog of sixteen years down and all I see is one set of foot prints in the sand. He is still carrying me, I don't know what i'de do if I didn't have Him by my side.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying.
