If you live completely for God, that doesn’t take the “shine” out of life.  On the contrary, it gives life meaning and content!  It makes you thoroughly and completely happyContinue

Keep your heart pure

The gospel is true salvation from every kind of guile and hypocrisy. Peter proclaimed the gospel, and the Gentiles' hearts were purified by faith. Acts 15:9. “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” Matt. 5:8. However, keeping the heart pure is not an automatic process. “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.” Prov. 4:23.We must not give in to the devil. We must resist him, steadfast in the faith.Temptations come as evil and impure…See More

Forgetful me

When I get up in the morning, one of the first things I see is my own reflection in the mirror.  I remember my face in detail, and would not forget it even if I closed my eyes and didn’t look in the mirror for a week.  However, it is different with my inner life: my thought life and my personal relationship with God in my daily circumstances.    When I sit in a church meeting and hear God’s word, I see everything so clearly.  I become aware of sin I didn’t know I was bound by; I see…See More

Living Faith

We must come to a living faith; that is the foundation. And faith in the forgiveness of sins is the basis for that foundation. It is the introduction to the main point, which is a glorious, victorious life in Jesus Christ. We are to be filled with all the fullness of God—with wisdom, goodness and mercy—so that the meekness of wisdom is made manifest through our bodies. This is a glorious life!See More

John 17

1These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: 2As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. 3And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and…
