Brothers and Sisters in our LORD,
My soul weeps because of grief; strengthen me according to Your word. Psalm 119:28
Dear Sisters and Brothers,
Just as the disciples experienced, we have all been jolted and jerked by life. We have danced with sorrow and are familiar with grief and loss. If you are reading this and have not experienced sorrow, prepare, for you will know sorrow as surely as the sun will rise tomorrow. Earth’s journey is peppered with sorrow…

It’s time for letting go…. nothing more… I can do
It is out of my hands now… but not ever out of my heart….
In the hands of heaven always and forever…
My soul grieves to a depth I have never known before …
I would move heaven and earth to make everything right … I would…
But I can no longer hold on … I am letting go
It is out of my hands … but not ever out of my heart
The hands of heaven hold it…

Unrelenting Grace
Among the fields of gold and green rustling in the midday breeze I find it,
Above the jagged rocks and cliffs where the majestic eagles fly I attain it,
Along babbling brooks and streams where the heat of the day is quenched I discover it

Beneath the unforgiving reality of poverty even there I see it
Beneath the night sky of each small town or suburb nestled…

Obviously, if all we were to see was that horrific display of what an unregenerate man can do to muster up as much hate towards another human being, then the use of the word "good" would most certainly be out of place to describe what happened that awful dark day we call Good Friday. It has always been understood that the day commemorated called Good Friday was anything but good. Jesus Christ after carrying that heavy cruel cross up…

Rome (CNN) -- The new pope gave an insight into his choice of the name Francis in an audience with journalists Saturday -- and said how he wished for a church that was both poor and "for the poor."
His words came in his first meeting with the media since he became the only Jesuit and first Latin American to be chosen…

Yesterday, I was in a car accident and it was TOTALLY MY FAULT! I exchanged insurance information and the lady pulled off. As I was on the phone with my insurance company to place a claim, the woman called me on the other line. She said, "I thought about it and I don't want to place a claim against you. I just want to let it go." I told the insurance company what she said, they told me it was too late, a claim number had been issued and she would…

I'm learning to spend time at His feet from A relationship gone soar. God is healing me…

VATICAN CITY — With a puff of white smoke from the chimney of the Sistine Chapel and to the cheers of thousands of rain-soaked faithful, a gathering of Catholic cardinals picked a new pope from among their midst on Wednesday — choosing the cardinal from Argentina, the first South American to lead the church.

“Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad… Matthew 5:12a
Dear Brothers and Sisters in our glorious LORD,
We all have people in our life I refer to as ‘extra-grace-needed’ people. I was scheduled to meet with such a student this week to explain some things to help her get over being offended last Thursday.…

Shattered … utterly broken and unhinged… a heart jagged and torn …. A mind tormented and anguished…. A soul tattered and frayed… A spirit weathered and worn…A body bereft of health and strength... The ruins of an existence scattered …. No earthly beast or fowl would live like this….
One desperate frantic attempt after another to gather the many shattered pieces… yet they are too numerous and the edges are sharp and cut at each…

Allow me to attempt an illustration of what it means to be IN Christ and on the way to heaven. Allegorically speaking, you're about to enter your Dad's car... you get in and you close the door. At the wheel is your Dad. You are entrusting your very life into his capable hands. It is his responsibility to make sure both you and him will arrive safely to the destination ahead.
