Praise the Lord everyone,
10 yrs. Ago my twin brother past away due to Sickle Cell Anemia we both suffer from. Along 5 of those years I was trying to kill myself all kinds of ways. In 2006 I rededicated my life to the Lord. 3 years ago my Mother was diagnosed with Cancer and she is not wanting treatment. I have 2 Stepbrothers and 1 Stepsister all ranging from 12 to 9 years older than me. I have always had my own life and now I am having to tend to my mother 24 - 7. My oldest…Continue
to you, the reader. I don't know if we have meet before or if you happened to stumble upon my musings, but whoever you are, let's just say, I don't know you and you don't know me. It is easier for me to pretend that what I say won't change your belief of who I am.
I guess that is why I struggle so much in my life. There was a time when I honestly believed that I…

When Job was facing the death of his children, the loss of his property and sickness in his body his wife said to him “are you still trying to maintain your integrity? Curse God and die.” (Job 2:9) Isn’t it better to be alone than with the wrong company? We need to be careful with whom are we spending time.
Whether we notice it or not, we are influenced by the people close to us. If they don’t share our values one day we may realize that we have changed and we have compromised…Continue

here are rewards for walking in the ways of God. But, in order to WALK in His ways, you need to KNOW His ways. There are five basic categories of the ways of God in the New Testament:
1. Walk in faith
2. Walk in love
3. Walk in light
4. Walk in the Spirit
5. Walk in fellowship
I really want to concentrate on the WAY OF FAITH. Blessed is the man that walks in the ways of the Lord! One benefit of walking in the ways of God is that you…Continue

1. Life isn't fair, but God has a way of turning a tragedy into a triumph.
2. When in doubt, just keep moving forward.
3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
4. Something Good Is Going To Happen!!!
All of us will go through times when we wonder if what we are doing is really making a difference in anyone’s life. Frustration can develop when we see the vision God has given us so clearly and it seems others who are significant in our lives do not.
If we are not cautious and in the Word, Satan can use these times to try and attack at the core of our spiritual well being and this can cause an outlook of Frustration and a sort of gloom may even attempt to surround us and our…
GET THE DOUBT OUT.
The more we grow up spiritually in the Lord, we become more rooted and grounded in the faithfulness of our God. But sometimes doubt will try to creep in and attack our trust in the Lord. In order for us to not lose ground under the attack of the enemy, we must act decisively. Below are 4 steps that we must take to eliminate doubt.
Matthew 21: 20-22 says, "Seeing this, the disciples were amazed and asked, " How did the fig tree wither all at once?". And…

CALVARY: THE GREAT BREAKTHROUGH
Calvary is a place of triumph and victory. What Jesus accomplished on the Cross of Calvary is the culmination of God’s Divine plan to redeem mankind from sin and death. It is here that we find the central point of new life. Jesus said “Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.” [St John 12:24] Jesus was that seed that died and brought forth many into the Kingdom of God.See…

Sometimes it is very difficult to maintain our courage during times of trial. Satan loves to discourage us and to put fear on us. Let none of us imagine that we will have smooth sailing merely because we follow Christ. Trials will come to each believer.God allows us to go through so that we can get to.
We must often go through something in order to get to something.
We grow spiritually as we encounter trials and learn to trust the Lord through them.
I have never written a blog before , the most I have ever done was post notes on facebook. So I thought this would be a good way to tell my story, in short of course. I have lead a troubled life, drinking doing drugs, basically not caring about anything. I used to have this attitued to not take life seriously. But by doing so it leed me away from God. I actually hated God for letting me grow up in an abusive home. I though God hated me becuase as much as I would pray that he would take me…Continue

The Church of England was the established church in colonial Georgia. During this period, European Protestants were encouraged to immigrate and German Lutherans and Moravians took advantage of this opportunity. Roman Catholics were barred and Jews were not welcomed, but persons of both denominations came anyway. In the mid-18th century, George Whitefield, called the Great Itinerant, helped touch off the Great Awakening, the religious revival out of which came…

“Nothing in Biology makes sense except in the light of evolution.” That’s the standard line evolutionists like to use. (It comes from Theodosius Dobzhansky, a famous Russian evolutionary biologist.)
Actually, a better way to say it is: “Nothing in evolution makes sense.” Period.
Evolutionists would have the rest of us believe that nothing made everything. That random chemical processes created life. That dinosaurs became birds. Wait, don’t schools teach…Continue

The cross-shaped sign, represented in its simplest form by a crossing of two lines at right angles, greatly antedates, in both East and West, the introduction of Christianity. It goes back to a very remote period of human civilization. It is supposed to have been used not just for its ornamental…Continue
