Breaking Out of Depression (beautiful Day)!

woke up this morning feeling isolated and lonely.  I didn't want to get out of bed but I Forced myself to go for a walk (beautiful sunny fallish day)! Prayed the whole way, God spoke to my heart, he said that I am right where he wants me to be.  He is working on healing my heart (that's why it hurts)!  That I need to align my will with his and trust him.  He has my best interest at heart.  He loves me, I can trust him!  Just do today!  Trust him for…

Growing Up

So clean house! Make a clean sweep of malice and pretense, envy and hurtful talk. You've had a taste of God. Now, like infants at the breast, drink deep of God's pure kindness. Then you'll grow up…

I Challenge You!

I challenge all the Christians, especially the pastors and evangelists, to organize flash mobs of praise and go out and start worshipping at the train stations, bus stations, parks, malls, ANY PLACE AND EVERY PLACE where there are crowds of people.
I challenge you to walk around as a flash mob in your…

A Christmas Story

Get ready. We’re coming to that time of the year when political correctness is heavy in the air. That’s right…I’m talking about “the holidays.”

Specifically, the Christmas season.

Won’t be long before the pc police experience their perennial angst about the symbols of Christmas and will not rest until all vestige of the reason for the season is expunged from the marketplace.  Somehow, we’ve allowed these self appointed gatekeepers of American traditions scare us into…

Please pray for me, I am  completely tied in knots of worry, restlesness, frustration, fear, anger and doubt and I know none of that comes from God and I feel completely misunderstood and I really need some help here...vk

Where Did the Quiet Go?

But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ. II Corinthians 11:3

My soul, wait thou in silence for God only; For my expectation is from him.…

Christians About the Masters Business not Thankful? Absurd!

Of all the people on plant Earth, a true child of the living God should be notorious for being thankful, sadly to say, this is not the case. Even though Scriptures declare that: "  IN EVERYTHING .....Notice it doesn't say  FOR  EVERYTHING......give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.", far too many a Christian has allowed bitterness to poison…

Survey On Forgive…would you pass?

If there was a survey that every person in the world had to take on “forgiveness” would you be honest with your responses? I dare myself to think that the end result would be very shocking because when it comes to forgiveness most of us turn a deaf ear.

When it comes to you forgiving a person what do you base it upon?…

What is that smell?

Oh how we love the aroma of sweet things, it just does something for us don't it? The freshness of a pot of coffee brewing, flowers that has been freshly cut, the baking of a pastry cake in the oven, yeah we love those smells. We love smells…

God's Timing

 Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness!  You have relieved me in my distress;

Be gracious to me and hear my prayer. Psalm 4:1

Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! II Corinthians 13:5

Thank You God!

Every time your name comes up in my prayers,

I say, "Oh, thank you, God!" (Philemon 1:4 MSG)

Can you imagine being able to say this about those in your circle of influence? When was the last time that you actually thanked…

All Are Welcomed- Are You Pressing Toward The Mark, But Needing a Break Through? Wandering God Where Are You?

I decided to write this forum not just for me, but for others in the same or similiar situations. We can put our heads together and help encourage one another.

I've been saved since I was 12 years old. Through all those years, I've had my ups and downs just like the next person. But sometimes I ask my father, "God where are you?" Sometimes I get stuck in a level where I have been before. Sometimes I fall and end up back where I started. Although I dust myself off and get back up, I'm…

Just one of those days...

This is my first blog on this site hope it's good :)

So today is just one of those "down on myself" days that I think every one of us gets. Im a senior in highschool and have a pretty good head on my shoulders. Have a lot of friends and do well in school (except math and gym lol) but when it all comes down to it I feel inferior around my friends and everyone else. And pretty much invisible. I try hard to look my best and to look nice at school (staying modest of course) but I feel…
