It's been called the most magical place on earth: a place where dreams come true. Walt Disney World is filled with activities, music and of course, all of our favorite Disney characters. Christmas at Disney is another experience altogether. And when you add to the mix a Bowl Game and the Orlando Magic playing in town, the city is jammed with people. So many in fact that all of the theme parks had to restrict access due to there being too many people trying to get in!
In the midst of the…

Therefore we… know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. For we live by faith, not by sight…So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. II Cor…

James 1:5 says, "If you don't know what you're doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You'll get his help, and won't be condescended to when you ask for it?" MSG
All of us need help every now and then. Where we get that help determines whether or not we are fulfilled by the answer.
I would usually go to the people that were closest to me...not close…

I really am not sure what to do anymore. I'm 20 years old and am looking for a miracle for Christmas so that I can help my parents pay rent in January we are barely getting by and I don't know what to do....somebody have any advice or even a miracle???

Today's a new day. We can use it in many ways. Will you join me in prayer to use this day to bring glory to God? The title for today is Walking as Jesus walked. We can take that literal meaning to heart and walk today for our health. We can also take that to mean do the things Jesus would. Love, forgive, reach out to the lost, challenge, question, teach, pray and worship.

I read an article yesterday with this title and I could not shake the thought all day. We have so many things in our lives that make it too easy for us to stop talking to each other. You can do all of your shopping online now and never…

During this time of the year I always sample the sweetest cookies our church ladies can bake. I also refer to "cookie" as those tasty treats from scripture that fill you up and make you smile. I made a little treat for The Landing during one of the sessions we had that was so simple. It consisted of a pretzel, a Rolo and a pecan half. You put a Rolo on the pretzel and then in the oven at 350 for 5 minutes. When you pull them out of the oven you press down the pecan on top of the Rolo. Can I…

We live in a world, which is subject to changes. Every moment changes are taking place. What we see now disappears the next moment. Those who are in high places today are unceremoniously removed from there tomorrow. But in this transitory world, there remains one thing immovable. That is the Holy Bible, which we possess. But to our own shame and sorrow, we see almost everywhere an increasing tendency to belittle this priceless treasure-The Bible

ContinuePrayer is not a method,
But a way of life.
It makes changes,
And will be visible to others.
Prayer is not a method, but it's a way of life.
It makes changes that are visible to others.
It's a way of spending time with God.
When we draw near to Him in prayer
He draws near to us and we communicate with Him.
When we do this we got to be like Him.
Sometimes we may not feel the changes soon.
But it's for…
