I Can So Relate To The Life of a Tree

AS I GROW OLDER, I can better relate to the Tree. We have the same Creator. We breathe the same air. We love the rays of the same Sun. Water is our lifeline. We are romanced when the Moon shines. I've been in the midst…

Get A Fresh Persepctive. I sure did!

I recently saw a quote online that read, “The only difference between a 'people watcher' and 'creepy stalker' is how good looking a person is.” It just goes to show you what a difference PERSPECTIVE can make. What perspective do you have on the way you look at the things around you?…

God Will Never Leave Me Alone. A Look At Life...

Life is a series of ups and downs...mess ups and fess ups...screw ups and get ups. We laugh, we cry, we lie, we cheat. We kick butt, we get our butts kicked. We make money, we lose money. One day we're on top of the world, the next--no one will answer our phone calls. And then there's Love.

Love is like a stream of water. Sometimes it flows like a raging river--sometimes a drought hits, and it all goes dry.…

Can't Count On Much These Days, But...

I couldn't wait to jump out of bed this morning. I got my six hours of sleep, so I've got the energy of a teenager. Why am I so excited, you ask? Because, the guy I work for is true to His word. I know I can count on Him to come through for me. He has my best interest in mind. He watches over me,… Continue

Memo To Self

Sometimes God puts obstacles in our path because we're on the wrong road. A detour can be a lifesaver. As I look back on my life, the direction that I often chose to take was unhealthy, meaningless, and downright ignorant. I was too stubborn to use the map that God gave me--and follow his direction. As I grow older and embrace Significance over Success, I'm beginning to use my GPS--God's Provident System--for my life. I don't want to get lost anymore.

End Times?

Earthquakes, tsunamis, world financial markets crashing, rioting in the streets and revolutions in the middle east as governments topple, eratic weather around the world...and Charlie Sheen taking over the airwaves! Makes you wonder. Seriously.

Justin Bieber's "Always Say Always" Puts God In The Spotlight. Highly Recommend.

I have my two girls with me this weekend, ages 11 and (almost) 14. With some reluctance, we jointly agreed to go see YouTube and teen sensation Justin Bieber's reality flick, "Always Say Always." Simply put, it was amazing.

While Facebook is now being credited for the revolution in Egypt, YouTube is the launch pad for young Bieber's career. Yes, we are in the midst of a…

Old Dogs Can Learn New Tricks

What pumps you up each day?

For some of us, it’s a cup of coffee. For others, it’s the treadmill.

What works best for me is something that has become a ritual.  Each morning, I wake up just before the crack of dawn.  The house is silent, the birds are not yet chirping, everything is so peaceful.

I put on my sweatshirt and sweatpants, and tip-toe to the kitchen to make myself a cup of coffee. Then, along with my two buddies, our cats, Cash and Bella, I find my way to my…
