Yes I know I wrote Mary instead of Merry. I declare unto you that without Mary there would be no Merry Christmas; hence,Mary Christmas. Now before we go any further let me just say that even though Mary was highly favored: "Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. Luke 1:28, she was not Immaculate ( having no stain or blemish : pure: containing no flaw or error). I understand that many people believe otherwise but the Bible does not substantiate this man made teaching. Please correct me if I am wrong because I am open to the truth of Scripture. In fact if we take the Bible as are only source of absolute truth it is no where to be found that she was sinless as Christ was(is).." And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior. For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed." Luke 1:47 &48. Allow the Word of God to be just that the Word of God. Notice the word Savior. If you are not "married to a religion" there is no way you can continue believing Mary was co-equal to her virgin born Son, Jesus Christ, Immanuel. If that was the case than Jesus should have called His Father His Savior.
Unless I be accused of being a Mary hater which I most certainly am not, I am fully aware that she is blessed!...." Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb" Luke 1:42 Granted, Mary, was no ordinary lady but in all honesty she was chosen of God to be a vehicle to be used of God to bring forth the little baby Jesus and that's all. She was not perfect only very obedient to the Lord's will. Many religious people erroneously believe that because the sinless, spotless, Lamb of God was in her womb that necessitates her being sinless as well. They reason how can anything sinless be born through a body tainted by sin? ..."It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing" John 6:63. Most everyone knows including religions that teach she was sinless agree that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit. Mary was born in sin just like you and me.."For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23. Mary was no exception..if she was, the preserved Word of the Great I AM would have made sure that it was written.
Mary Christmas! "And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.
shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the
Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And
the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon
thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also
that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of
