Stone rolled away - Sun rising
Thousands of years ago, God gave us 10 S's names in the Old Testament to describe Jesus, and the last one of the 10 names God gave us, spoke of Jesus' second coming before His first coming ever came.  How 'bout that?

It's interesting, isn't it?

These are the 10 'S's names: the Seed, the Star, the Scepter, the Son, the bronze Serpent, the Savior, the Servant, the Stone, the Shepherd and ...

the SUN of righteousness!

Isn't it interesting, in the last book of the Old Testament - Malachi - God gave us that as the last 10 'S' name for Jesus?

Malachi 4:1-2 "Behold the day is coming ... THE SUN
of righteousness shall rise with healing in His wings."

On Easter, THE SON rose.

The Son ROSE on Sun-day.

And one day on another 'Son-day'

THE SUN will rise!

The Sun WILL RISE on a 'Son-day'.

That is, the second coming of Jesus will come one day.

God told us in the Old Testament to watch for the Sun of righteousness to arise, but not the first time.  First time, the "SONrise".  Second time, the "SUNrise".

God said in 2 Samuel 23:2&4
"The Spirit of the LORD spoke by me, and His word was on my tongue ... and HE SHALL BE LIKE THE LIGHT OF THE MORNING when the SUN risesa morning without clouds."

God also said in Isaiah 60:19-20
"The sun shall no longer be your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you; but the LORD will be to you an everlasting light, and your God your glory.  YOUR SUN SHALL NO LONGER GO DOWN, nor shall your moon withdraw itself; for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended."

[see Psalm 72:1-20 and Psalm 89:36-37
for references to both 'the Son' and 'the sun']

Isn't it interesting, in the last book of the New Testament - Revelation - God gave us the 'last event' before everlasting being THE SON (the Lamb) becoming THE SUN?

Just like God said in Isaiah 60:19-20 (Old Testament), God says in Revelation 21:23-25 (New Testament)
"The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it,
for the glory of God illuminated it. THE LAMB (the Son) IS ITS LIGHT (the Sun).
And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light,
and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.
Its gates shall not be shut at all by day, there shall be no night there."

And God says in Revelation 22:3-6
"And there shall be no more curse,
the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it,
and His servants shall serve Him.
They shall see His face ...
There shall be no night there:
They need no lamp nor light of the sun,
And they shall reign forever and ever.
Then he said to me, 'These words are faithful and true.'
And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel
to show His servants the things which must shortly take place."

This Easter, as we celebrate the fact that the "Son rose" ... remember, one day soon, we will celebrate the "Sun rise".

Jesus will come again.
